I signed up for a half marathon at the end of the summer so the training begins! I’m not going to start super serious training for a little while so I can avoid stress injuries and the like, but I’m pretty excited for my first race!

The work outs have been going well the past couple of days. I haven’t been getting in as many miles, but I’ve been hitting the weights hard which has felt really good. Once finals are over, and I can find a regular routine again, my running will be back in full swing!

I guess I haven’t recorded what I’ve done lately. Two days ago I went to the gym, and biked for a very short period of time, and then lifted for a decent amount of time. My foot was really painful, so I had to cut it short. I cried afterwards out of frustration for not being able to get a good day in. Pretty embarrassing. But yesterday I ran seven miles, and did a lot of lifting so that felt really good. 

Today me and my boyfriend are headed to the movie “The Vow,” just for Valentines Day purposes… Nothing like a good romantic comedy/drama to keep the sparks flyin! Afterwards we’re checking out a raw food restaurant for dinner. I’ve only been to one before, but I absolutely loved it! I hope this one is as good!
